Steve, this can happen only if we allow it to happen, and it seems to me that it's a whole lot less likely now that the Trump has climbed aboard the Newt train to the White House. Things are bound to turn around!
Remember, Donald was trailing behind Obama by only three points back when people were still trying to figure out who Romney was, so Trump's support of Gingrich now will certainly help turn things around!
Sure it's the sole intent of Islam to force us all into submission! Isn't that really what the word Islam means? For God's sake! Shalom means peace, not Islam, and has not Israel, in reality, given up nearly everything for a false hope of peace?
Communism and Islam have been brothers for centuries! Look at Hitler and his ties to both Communism and Islam! Might we even dare to suppose that the offspring of such a union would be one such as Obama who spits on our Constitution and mocks each and every precept and principle this once great nation was founded upon even as he strips us all of our ability to not only defend ourselves but to adequately support ourselves and our families? Has he not admitted as much even in saying that the Constitution is outdated?
We are at a crossroads and we must buck up to the fact that Socialism will not save us nor will it make us equal and none of Islam is our friend! None of it and quite simply because the Qur'an says what it says? I suggest that each and every peace loving Muslim is scared to death to take a stand and speak out against the atrocity of the most murderous, torturous mindset on earth! One might even dare to say that Communism pales in the face of Islam.
But of course you're right. If we don't wake up, if we don't set all of this damned political correctness aside, if we don't accept a few hard facts and once again embrace truth and true justice, and once again allow right to be right and wrong to be wrong, we will succumb.
I am just not ready nor willing to believe for one moment that the time for such succumbing is NOW! Not while there is yet a breath left in me; not while yet God is in His heaven; not while yet there are some who yet care enough to rise up to defend the freedoms that we cherish! So long as there are some there is always hope, and for that hope me and mine will fight to the death. But in order to fight one must not have given up.

I think Trump wanted to support Newt, but he knew that Romney is going to be the nominee and he didn't want to back the loser.

The Government is using obesity and junk food as a reason to eventually take over food distribution to the people. It is not fair that your child is eating steak as another child eats fast food every night since they are poor. Redistribution of money, food and eventually water too. - Steve Cooper
