“the international community, led by the United States, has made a decision to crush Bashar al-Assad’s regime, and this may lead to the contract being disrupted and Russia suffering image and financial losses.”

A deal struck last December (!!???!), and Russia "is only trading items not banned by international law", I guess that explains the 50 or so tons of ammo and munitions that just arrived.

They also add "“The Yak-130 plane is superfluous for attacking insurgents...” the analyst said. At the same time, he said, the jet cannot endure air battles with Israeli, Turkish, or Western ..."

I will bet it's a WMD certified delivery system, what you think? Of course they wouldn't mention that.
Oh, but you shouldn't worry? That would be the reason to favor this over "cheaper airplanes" for "attacking insurgents".

You read it like this, Steve?

The Russian Navy is all over that area. I think they release these stories to antagonize Israel more than anything. The sale is real, but so is the propaganda.
